I recently started living together with a nice woman from east Europe.  It is mandatory for all immigrants to attend Dutch language classes before they get a final permit, at the end they have to pass an exam. There are a number of Russian and Ukrain girls in her class. I think most of them are not that very good looking, but as long as they are happy, who am I to comment

Hello Dutchy... these new law will be effective only in Mars...

Exam is will not be only over the knowledge of language but over geographie and history too... each try for the exam will be 350 euro... Until she is lucky, she cannot receive a visa to Holland...

Second problem is financial... foreign wife from Europe need to pay a authorisation for stay who is 30 euro... but in the case of your russian wife, it will be 830 euro...

On http://www.buitenlandsepartner.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4402 , you can find a interesting handbook for Dutch people who wish use the "Belgium route", so they have no problem with these new law...

In short, you need marry in Russia, need to have your official domicile in Belgium ( not a problem since you are european citizen ), make come your russian wife in Belgium for a periode of 6 month... after 6 month, she receive the european citizenship and can immigrate in Holland like any european citizen... cheap and easy way who mix Holland, Belgium and European law... fully legal ;)

PS : take a look at the full forum at http://www.buitenlandsepartner.nl/forum/index.php ... it is the equivalent of "visa journey" for Dutch people...

PSS: The examen cost is 350 euro and make in the origin country of the bride via telephone... the examen is computer generated... and recorded... this can lead to several problem :

By example, if the communication is stopped, you need start again... if you girlfriend have the request knowledge but have a big russian accent, it is possible that the computer don't reconize the sentence and give a false result...

Bruno,

To some parts you are right. Till now I had to pay 1000 euro to the IND, which is the state agency that takes care of the visa etc.

Now she is attending school, which is for free (including exams), this maybe changed in 2007. Of course we know it is not only Dutch language she has to learn, but also cultural and social knowledge of the Dutch society. She started class in the beginning of December 2005 and we are now starting to speak Dutch at home. She speaks English, Russian, Arabic, Italian, French and now almost Dutch.

Moving to Belgium was never an option, because i have two daughters who are attending high school. This option will be closed soon by the Belgium and Dutch governments.

She has now a (working)permit to stay in Holland for 1 year, we had no problems what so ever to obtain this permit. It took about 4 months to get it.

Bruno, to further clarify the story of Dutchy he is not talkng about the first permit, which will have the new law starting in March, but about the old laws.

Under the old law the immigrants must also acquire language skills and an amount of knowledge about Dutch history and culture. This exam must be passed before they will get a residence permit without time limit. Immigrants can get such a permit after 3 years, and this means that those who immigrated un der the old law have 3 years to pass the exam. As the laws have changed now, it is expected that school will not be free from 2007 or 2008.

To all who add someone to this thread, please give more than a name and a picture. Without a full story of what happened and why the woman is considered a scam artist it can easily lead to defamatory posts.

I got burned few times and now use the Scam Check service from www.russianscamcheck.org - these people have a database of scammers and can check wether the address where the lady lives is real. If it is not - it is likely you are being scammed! Watch out and never send money to anybody before validating that person is real. I learned my lessons.

well, it looks like an advertising from your side.

and what are you talking about - they are checking the address if is is real?!

99% of the women prefer to open an address at @mail.ru, @hotmail.ru, @yandex.ru etc. etc

how can anybody check if the address belongs to a scammer or not? It's impossible, so if you are not a part of the site you are advertising - you should not believe everything you hear.

Simply marketing name... "scamcheck" attract more visitor that "flower delivry"....

Yep, I agree

I just visited their forum - you are right  - a lots of ad Spam posts...

Probably because they do not monitor it too well...

Yet service was ok: cheaper than usual flower delivery...  Picture helps. Othwer deliver sites I used didn't offer picture service.

Well of course I would not mind to freely advertise for these folks after they saved me $2000 ...

It's not the commercial one if this is what you mean.

Not sure they are cheaper...

$40 for one Rose with picture ( basic scam check )... and since they are a USA firm who work with http://www.russianflora.com ... russianflora charge $8.95 for the rose and $9.99 for the photo... they win 21$ for the "service"... not bad for a non-profit organisation ;)

Bruno, I agree: they are probably not the cheapest, but at least they specialize at this sort of deliveries (or checks). I used some flower delivery company before and they went there, the girl wasn't home and then they didn't want to return to recheck for me...
The scam check guys went there few times to find out who lives there and made a picture of the building and person at this apartment: it turned out to be completely different people living there in Lugansk apartment.

Btw, I check prices of www.russianflora.com and it seems like they even offer free picture of delivery in Ukraine, but this is for the orders over $50. I have a girl in Kiev I am chatting with now: Elena is finally the real one. Maybe she is not as hot as Galina from Lugansk , but I can call her and we plan to meet in Spain in May !

Btw, another difference is the ID check option. When Elena from Kiev was checked - the scam check guys checked her passport to verify that she is who she says she is... This was an important one for me after 2 burns in a row...

fyi, this scammer now goes under the name of elena karamisheva, from "marsk", siberia.

her personal email address is:  kiska13rus@yahoo.com

i just found this site and her matching photo, so regrettably i got sucked into 4 email exchanges with her, though she hasn't asked for money, yet.  i did send my cell phone number in the last email, and that i am worried about.  anyone know if i should be concerned about that?

WickedOne: Don't worry - scammers are not a notion of an organized crime: it's small disorganized groups, not far reaching and surely not interested in using your personal information in any way except making you beleive that they are real and send them money yourself.

Update on active scammer.

One of the earlier scam women shown on page two, Tatyana Sannikova, from Vladivostok has done fairly well over the past 6 months and has relocated to Moscow.  Tatyana seems to have also changed her name a bit and now prefers to be called Tatiana Sokolova.

I can see it now, "Oh, those crazy American men" she tell's the Western Union rep as she hands her an additional $20, "they just can't seem to spell Russian names".

In case any of you guys are in the neighborhood and you want to stop in and say hi, Tatiana's new address in Moscow, Llenina street build 161, flat 37.

Oh, and more good news. Tatyana has a new travel agency she works closely with that can help HER to come and see YOU!

Agency "Sharmanka"
Manager Alisa Wetrova
Griboedova str 28, office 460.

What the heck, moved to Moscow and get new address, might as well get a new e-mail address as well.

Old e-mail   pl11ushka@yandex.ru

New e-mail   kiska17rus@yahoo.com

You guys let Tatiana know she should smile bigger next time for the camera won't you?

You know what's the curious about it is after getting acquainted with  the scamlists and looking up the agencys again with the updated prfiles  you can see women trying hard to make you pay for their addresses and  personal info whilst you can have it free on scammers report pages

...and i loved this girl Tatynia. Seems as though she is about to cry  on the chair pleading for the money. You should have typed after the  text "send money QUICKLY" hehe
