Hush now, Shadow  ;D

In the wake of the European commission's report a few weeks back, I was sooooo tempted to go back to that thread where the resident neocons blamed Putin for the entire mess and wanted to start WW3 over it, if just to tell them they were dead wrong.

Well they did try to blame Russia for using strong military force.
Which is similar to telling a Ferrari owner he should not cross the 15Mph speed limit.  :D

Hey, as long as they stay the hell out of Donetsk for a while and make no attempts to interfere with the Power of the Pecker... I'll let 'em live a bit longer...  8)

If you notice the distance to the Russian border I can not guarantee Russians staying out of there.  :P

Funny how things turn....lady from photo number 3 appears to be a scammer(((((  As soon as I got her first emai (golubka55@gmail.com)l I googled the address and zero returns, always a good sign. Just did so again and now she is all over the place asking for money. So I am scratching her off the list....camping and class, I knew it was too good to be true :)

If you are reading other posts here you might reconsider... reports not always a scammer make. On the other hand she might like her men camping...after she is done with them. ;)

Yes it is possible that I am wrong...if proven so I'd gladly eat my words. However, someone posted a string of five emails and in the fifth was the request for money. Same canned email, photos, name, city, etc. as I recieved. That link is:http://www.romancescam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=21792  Anna from Feodosia Ukraine
In another forum she is Natalya from Ossinki Russia but with same photos. I doubt she can be in the same two places at once.
In my book she's a scammer and I won't spend anymore of my time on her. Now she is just part of the trip report :)

Today I renewed my EM account and started sending out some emails through that avenue. Lets see if I can get a date before departure :)

I noticed you commenting in other posts (Note: more than one) how something/someone reminds you of your ex-.

What's with that as you prepare for your festive trip?

I gotta tell ya, someone has gone into serious overdrive wanting to play matchmaker (note the use of the word 'matchmaker' rather than 'datemaker'), which always makes me a bit nervous for the obvious male reasons (why do women love to do that so much?)  Sooooooo, I'm pretty sure you will have some dates through The Maiden Agency (TM) - should you choose to accept those missions -- just please use some finesse if there isn't a mutual attraction so I'll still get my nocturnal post shower bliss!

Heheheheheee, Man I could SERIOUSLY mess with you on this one, evil, Evil, EVIL I am:)

But I won't, or at least I'll try not to....I am an oaf sometimes.

Matchmaking heh? How can she do that when the only thing she knows about me is that I arrive on the same plane as you :) Have you been lying to her again? Probably told her I am 4'10, 235 lbs and and have huge wart in the tip of my nose, which by the way I do...

Well the girls of EM are getting back to me. Most of the interested ones are from Kharkov and want me to travel there. Probably won't, heck I'm already going half way around the world....

Heard from number one finally. She has been sick but says she misses me. Still don't have a confirmed date with ANYONE ! ! !

Getting pregame jitters but then I let it all go and remember it's just a vacation and if anything happens it happens...

I am just seeing little bits and pieces of her in what others are writing and want to warn them "Life can be good but you have to let it good. Don't make stupid choices and don't accept bad behavior."

I'm looking forward to this trip, a lot :) It's the right time, right place, right people.

Hah! no lies brother... but do you really need to ask "how"? Let's just say you are unaware of the Grand Scheme (TM) of which I have inside information, transferable at the right price.  8)

points which might be interesting about The Maiden Agency (TM)
1) It is owned and operated by a professional psychologist and relationship therapist (god help us at that point)
2) The Psychologist (TM) is adept at conducting surreptitious informational interviews (maybe god will intervene)
2) The Psychologist (TM) also happens to be a Russian/Ukrainian woman (even god can't save us)
4) I sometimes (well not yet, but perhaps in the foreseeable future) run interference between The Maiden Agency (TM) and its perspective vict.. er, clients for a nominal fee  :P

Rina, yes, you are correct. I am going to visit one woman in the very early stage of a relationship. The future is open to whatever we choose to build together, but we are still in the stage of creating the blueprints for the project.  ;)

The Maiden Agency (TM) is a joke about her (The Maiden) wanting to play matchmaker. However, kidding aside, she is very credentialed as well as adept at that sort of thing and could probably be very successful doing exactly that if she wanted (find great matches that is).

Perhaps your friend should resurrect her dream of creating an agency based on sound psychological principles of personality matching.  Maybe these do exist out there, but I haven't heard of one.  Personality matching would at least take one dastardly nemesis out of the East/West relationship equation.  ;D

It's beginning to dawn upon me that I am leaving for the Ukraine in a few days and I don't even know where I'm staying......

Five days and no confirmed dates! Though a few ladies on EM are chatting and expressing interest.

Sculpto, if you're out there get on a plane and come to Donetsk with Daveman and I :)

LoL... Fear ye not oh Seducer Of Women Extraordinaire... I know where you are staying, but I just don't know the address. Besides, you'll be ridin' with us from the Airport anyway.  You'll basically be right across the street from us.. um.. somewhere in Donetsk.. hehehehe... about a block and a half from the main square (with the obligatory statue of Lenin).  Our Guardian has handled all of that. Your flat is the cozy little flat I stayed in before (with a clothes washer, separate kitchen, except no bathroom, you have to pee out the second floor window into the dumpster below). The only problem with this flat is you have to learn the trick of the door lock.  Took me a couple of days wrestling with it, along with slinging about 50,000 curses at it but finally solved the Great Lock Conundrum.  The area is very cool because we're about in the middle between the square and the river, about a 5 minute walk to either.

I would call you with the address, but I have no money in my phone and the internet cafe is just too expensive after grandma's operation. Just send me $6000 via western union and I'll email you the flat address and have a gorgeous woman shipped to your door!  :P

Concentrate on the babes man... the housing aspect is in the bag.

Yeah, Sculpto, don't go home, come have a blast with the Asylum Escapees.  Hell, you already have connections in Donetsk anyway. 8)

I can't find my ski parka, my duaghter hid the cash I was going to take and I don't have a thing to wear!!! IT'S GONNA BE GREAT!

Well I still don't have a confirmed date but I do have a "Here's my phone number, call me when you're in town and we'll meet" so I'm getting closer. What is funny is that if I were going to Kharov or Dnep I'd have half a dozen dates already :) It kinda peeves me I am travelling half way around the world and they aren't willing to take a two hour train ride to meet. I don't know any of them beyond maybe two emails so I guess I can't expect too much but it does speak to their sense of adventure, or lack thereof.

This might be a lot better way of going about this than writing emails for a year. So here are a few of the ladies from EM (publicly viewable website) that want to meet while I'm there. If anyone in interested in them too I guess you can go to EM, find them and "The Race is On, LOL!"

I'm off to find some gifts, chocolates usually go over well so I try to find some Godiva.

Didn't know you planned to ski, Jolly....  really, the chocolates are a nice idea, but
ditch the parka, especially if it's colorful. If you insist that "this is how I dress" then
more power to you, but do keep notes on how these fine ladies react to your garb.

Have a great time, both of ya.

The ski parka is solid black and I only want it in case we go the that monastary. Other than that I'm layering with cashmere sweaters and a sport coat :)

But you are right Vaughn, you do have to try to not stand out too much cause then the lady might feel a little akward being around you. So should I leave the Hawiian shirts, short pants and white sneakers at home?

(chanting) GaLIna GaLIna GaLIna!  Is she in donetsk?

Hey, if you like those in Kharkiv or Dnepr.. hop on the train and go fishin'!  ;D  Or hell, a quick jump by plane isn't too expensive.

Yeah, gotta drop the Parka, unless you wanna hit the Carpathians (now that's a bit of a ride from Donetsk).  Temps this time of year are mildly cool to cold, but not that hellish winter stuff yet. If you wear something heavy like that, unless you plan to spend a LOT of time outdoors, you'll basically roast.. and not to mention the fashion statement... though, nowadays at least in Ukraine, everything is becoming very colorful and almost indistinguishable from the west in the younger crowd.

I'll be sportin' the black wool trencher, just to make them wonder.

Okay, I see you posted that it's black... and yeah, for the monastery it'll be good..  you';; resemble an Ethnic Michelin Man! hehehe

Yes, Galina is in Donetsk :) She keeps asking me for long letters and I keep telling her that I am going to be there in a few days and I don't see the point as we can talk all we want when I am there. We'll see...

I suppose I could travel to Kharkov but right now I don't really feel like it. I'm stubborn that way...want the other side to show a little effort too.

Just checked the temps and it is supposed to be in the mid sixties. I can wear short sleeved shirts in that weather:) Last time I checked it was in the low 50s. Best to be prepared but I'll leave the parka at home. If I need something heavier I will pick it up locally.
