Hey everyone this is my first post here although I have been lurking around here and other places for a few months learning all I can.

How many here are under 35 and searching the FSU for a wife?
How long have you been searching?
Have you made any trips?
Age range of lady's you are searching for?
Reason for searching

I will start

I am 27 from Australia and have been corresponding with lady's for a couple of months.

I dated a Russian who is here in Australia studying, She is interstate and we remain friends with possibility's for more but we have different agendas at the moment so not in a relationship. I have to say guys she was very different to the Australian lady's I have dated and in all the right ways. She was far more feminine, took a lot more pride in her appearance, never complained or winged about other people or petty little things, she seemed to really appreciate my company rather than expect it.

Now before all the the older guys who think Im to young for this and must have problems meeting local lady's you are dead wrong. I am tall, hansom, very social, and know exactly what I want in a women.  I am also fussy and have high standards and wont settle for less. I want a feminine women who does not think the sun shines out her ass She must be attractive but does not need to be a model other things are far more important to me.

Yes, they do exist here in Aus but they are hard to come by. I am no way limiting myself to FSU its just another way of broadening my search.

I am searching for lady's between 23 and 29.
As I am from a town not a city I am keeping clear of the larger city's
I must say starting out I did contact lady's from the larger city's but have found the ones from smaller ones to be far less westernized, down to earth.

I will be doing a visit one in July with a back up plan of an agency to meet many like EM.

I have found many women who do not want long correspondence, which I completely understand as they may have been jaded by keyboard Romeos. They often give me there number and tell me to call them when I arrive so I guess these lady's can be backups too.

There are quite a number of under 35 people searching.
While some when confronted with a young guy will say 'get married, get divorced and come back in 10 years.', for me there is no problem in taking the world as a dating pool.

However you have to be sure that you can not just meet someone, but also have the patience, maturity and financial means to build a family, based on your income supporting.

31 years old and was member with EM during 2 months (payed for 6 months).
My search span was 23-29 but many younger and older women wrote.

Meet almost immediately a wonderful women (23). We talked to phone everyday during a few weeks (now I have IP-phone, but before $$$$  )
Did my first travel to Russia after 2.5 months. 2 months after my visit  later she came to me and stayed 4 weeks. Next step Thailand in March.

Why FSU lady?  I was/am really  fed up with western women that are just trying to find benefits for them selves instead of trying to make a relationship as a teamwork. Maybe Russian women is no differnet but I have noticed that my lady is, so I am really glad I took this step to look outside the borders. And it is fun!  Have never had more fun in any relationship before!

And another thing, Russian ladies seems much more mature. I was skeptical about her age first but she has proven her self to be very mature, more than me.

What is with the sarcasim to people under 35?
Is it because most want the 18-22 year olds and the younger Men pose a threat to you getting them?

I am part of the under crowd. Was 31 when I met my wife and she was 18.
I was not interested in someone her age. I prefered Women my age or older (have always dated that way)
We met, became friends. I indicated to her she was too young for me. I became more of the person she wrote to for advice about dating foreign Men. Over a 2 year period she grew on me. My first meeting with her was on her 21st birthday. I went to Ukraine for a month. She offered for me to stay with her.

I sort of apply to this thread because I was under 35 when I met and married a woman from Moscow. Being younger shouldn't deter anyone from the process. If a woman can't understand and accept that most younger men are just starting out (mid twenties group) and as a couple won't have everything right away then she shouldn't be looking for a younger man.

Reason for looking are all exactly the same reasons you posted. I am good looking, have a great career, no hangups, and can easily meet beautiful women here if I wanted to date stuck up girls or dancers

I started looking for women in their late twenties to begin with but have ended up corresponding with women that are 19-23 years old. I have received quite a bit of interest from this age group surprisingly. It seems that my original age range may not be as interested or maybe they are intimidated for some reason? I do look younger than I actually am which may be the cause...

Matty, the Tour name was a lighthearted poke at youth versus the older crowd. No one said anything about one-night stands and the use of the word tour is a takeoff on those "agencies" which organize the speed-dating expeditions to meet your possible Ms. Right..

As it was discussed in the chat room a couple of nights ago, you guys could/should consider forming up a small group and doing your own trip. The presence of a like-minded support group without parties involving girls paid to attend might give you guys a more enjoyable trip than the WOVO's which fall apart of the WMVM's where the guys get caught up in which gal, which day, where's the terp, find a taxi, etc.

If you guys line up the serious possibilities, establish who is worthwhile and schedule meeting them you could probably have a solid experience and the camaraderie of your buddies. You would have the capability of double dating a time or two, gaining the opinions of other guys and their dates (within reason) and the girls might enjoy being able to see and meet the other gals and westerners in a limited fashion.

You guys could get a couple of large apartments, get your own driver for the period, make do with just one terp from a independent service and generally set your own schedules and agenda. Unlike a mixed group where you'd have to contend with 50 and 60 year olds who prefer different music and environments *ballet or opera perhaps) which might slow you younger pups down.

Russia, Ukraine, whatever. No visa to Ukraine so it's a tad easier to go there but really makes no difference.

I will answer on behalf of my friend. He was 24 when he started looking abroad. He started somewhere in 2005, looking for girls 21-25 and in early summer 2005 he went to meet a girl in Novosibirsk, that was his first time in Russia. Things didn't progress with her, they decided to stay friends. In autumn he wrote to me, i was 22 then. As he wrote his reason to search abroad were because Russian women, he believed, were more feminine, family-oriented than Western women, all common things that people say when asked why they search FSU women:) We corresponded for 3,5 months and he went to visit me in december 2005. In half a year we were already together in his country - still happy together more than 3,5 years later.

Speaking as a father of 29-yo and 25-yo sons, and knowing a lot about the RW adventure, I do offer the following suggestions:

-   Make sure you are ready to marry.  IMO 30 - 35 is an excellent age for a serious relationship leading to marriage, kids, mortgage, furniture on credit, car on credit..... the complete catastrophe dream.  My sons have been my greatest source of joy.

-   If you have some money, or make good money I suggest that you downplay it.  Pretend that you are an average Joe.  This will rid you of those RW seeking gold.

-   If you are indeed an average Joe you should have a minimum of $10,000 already saved for this venture.  Also, marry someone with the credentials and experience to get a job here after a year or so of adjustment.

Now go find your precious woman.

All the women have pretty much say that they are looking for foreign men because men in their countries are no good. I know there are some people here who are more familiar with FSU culture.  What's the deal with that?  I ask them but they all seem to give me some canned answer.

Yes, because Russian standards and education systems are different. Here, in North American, in order to be a doctor or a lawyer or a dentist, you will ordinarily go and do a bachelor's degree and you will then go and do more studies to become a doctor, lawyer or dentist. In Russia, you will apply and start your studies in these professions immediately and thus can be a lawyer when you are in your early twenties for example (i.e. you will start your university when you are 17 and if you finished five years later, you will still be 21 or 22.
