The embassy has given back the passport and its on his way.
I still don't know what is inside the passport.
I suppose the answer is positive but I will believe in it
when lady of Thailand would have opened it.
And then we will know if we have got a simple or a multi entry visa.
Or maybe nothing.

Anyway we did everything on time.

reality sucks...
now it sucks even more
and in the future, it's gonna suck a lot worse than today

see, I know
but ya'll won't want me talk about the deal Putin and Xi Jinping have worked out in regards to a Naval Blockade of Taiwan a couple of years from now that must be done before Trump leaves office

the USA is preparing for it to happen in 2 years
in view of the cost benefit analysis of fighting goat eating Houthis, who haven't figured out how to build a 3 story house yet
a war with China is ridiculous
we are just reinforcing our OWN defenses in case "things get out of hand" and we have a short but INTENSE conventional war with China over the blockade
that's WHY we forced Taiwan to build a TSMC factory in the USA, cuz Trump is gonna dump Taiwan when the rubber hits the road

Trump has finally stated the obvious
it's not "saving young lives" he's after,
NO, the war is an obstacle to foreign trade with Russia and Trumps' own profiteering
that's WHY he wants to end it, by whatever means he can
and have Putin give him the credit
Trump's threats to put new sanctions on Putin was all bluff

Trump was hoping he could use trade leverage to influence Putin to move away from China to the USA
but Xi Jinping was WAY AHEAD of him, and already made Putin a better offer he "could't refuse"

Russia/China/North Korea in the Pacific
Iran and friends in the Red Sea

2 to 3 years from now

if the USA withdraws from NATO, Russia will advance towards Europe sometime in the next decade, if everything works out with China and Iran

I have no clue about what will about in the Asian region.
Taiwan is a hot, very HOT area in the future.
China is getting tons of armament and aircraft carrier. Their last destroyers are very powerful.
And the last battle between India and Pakistan shows that their air to air missiles are very good.
But
about Ukraine, actually sanctions don't look like a bluff.
They soon will be in action.
Trump went to Saudi Arabia and the price per baril has already dropped significantly
Knowing that the threshold profit for Russia is $48 per baril and the budget is expected with a $70 per baril.
I have already such strategy in 2014, Saudi Arabia suddenly inundating the world with his petrol, if I remember correctly.

when Russia runs out of it's Petro Foreign Reserve in about 6 more months
will the war stop?

nyet...becuz Russia has physixally $250 billion in gold it can sell China as needed
North Korea and Iran will trade in rubles and rubble, which sounds like a law firm
Rubles and Rubble LLC

yes, the sanctions hurt Russia!
but...Trump  NEVER applied any in  his hndreds of Executive Orders to Russia...only to Ukraine
it hurts Russia, but not Putin
the only thing that can hurt Putin is "LOSING"
so the war must go on, despite 1 million KIA/WIA and an infinite economic drain

yur all a bunch of blind men standing on the edge of a cliff
yellin at me for annoying ya, cuz I'm trying to "tell ya'll something"
well...uhhhhh...ok...
I'll let ya go
you'll understand after the fall

And once that money has ran out?

Russia will be broke with an economy in freefall with no ability to stop it is I think the answer. Ultimately the war in Ukraine is draining Russia all the time of money, the longer the war in Ukraine goes on the weaker Russia becomes until we end up with a Russia similar to post collapse USSR days or similar.

One problem for Russia in buying stuff from China, North Korea or Iran is that it boosts their economy not Russia's. Instead of that money going to Russian Armaments factories which it will receive some of the money back in tax even if from the workers if that money goes to China it's gone with little return. I myself am kicking back and hoping and waiting for next year when Russia's economy will likely hit the wall from their war in Ukraine

There are some bad days.

Today is one of them.
We didn't get the visa.

I am writing an appeal.
She probably wrecked the visa (cannot be sure 100% it could be something that we are not aware), by asking a multi entry visa and changing her passport last moment, not giving to me two documents I have asked long time ago. She also bought the ticket rather than asking a simple booking, that's discrepancies and embassies hate this.
Ex husband was dealing for her with visas and she had no clue that a REAL and VERY SERIOUS stuff.
I am telling her that I am fed up with her culture of secrets. And that should stop.

I think doing stuff where an element of complexity is involved can cause difficulties for a relationship and might better be avoided if possible as they can cause strain that is not helpful to the relationship. When I went on holiday with Kherson girl many years ago now I unwittingly chose Cyprus, I booked cheap flights not realising her crossing the border from Northern Cyprus to Southern Cyrus would be an issue for her. I lost out financially and had to book new more expensive ticket for her to a Southern Cyrus Airport. I had to pay more anyway to get a taxi across the border and the whole thing was a strain on the relationship I didn't need, maybe distrust grew in her idk. Probably the relationship was never to be anyway as I don't think she was all that into me but more into my wallet lol. Still I guess experience gained, I unwittingly ended up in a more complex situation that I would have wanted but I decided from that point on to try and research better in future and try to avoid complex stuff. Possibly haven't always managed it but I try.

Yep Trench you are right
It adds unnecessary stress to the relationship
Some are necessary, because it tests both partners
But too much could discourage.

It's necessary to find a way to meet her this summer.
And this spot is the sweetest because we can do this without children.

So, about the appeal
You have two typesinformal and administrative.I will use the informal one    I have blamed my girl and there is also the fact that the form on the application didn't give me any other choice than marriage purpose but I have to blame myself also.

I didn't put enough documents about OUR relationship in the file.
So I am now printing the whole communication story we had on Whatsapp.

That is true. No one likes stress but it's almost inevitable at some point in all relationships. So better that the relationship is tested fairly early on to see whether a couple are willing to stick with each other under such conditions. Many a time on here we've seen promising couples get together only to suddenly fall out when a problem/argument rears itself. So despite the relationship looking promising those relationships were probably never meant to be. Kherson girl broke up with me over a tourist visa argument, if she was into me enough she wouldn't have done so I figure that relationship was never meant to be. It's a shame when break ups happen all of a sudden to promising couple as it's not nice to see or be in that situation, it can feel random, but it's unfortunately the way it goes sometimes.

If the appeal in few days don't work the relationship will be tested again.
I have proposed to go to Georgia (not the American state). For many reasons that is the most logical second planOne : that's close to what she is wants: nature and beautiful landscape plus cultureTwo: it's a friendly Russian space (no visa needed)
So if she don't want to meet me there...

Georgia may not be a bad option. Sometimes with women I find that the more simple easier choice can end up being more pleasing to her than the choice of going the whole hog to try and please her with something that might be thought as extra nice. I haven't followed your thread real closely so I might be wrong here but I understand that you hoped that she would visit France? You would show her all the nice quaint non touristy stuff, etc. Well it's good for a woman to see your home country/place but sometimes even if you have great stuff to show her of anything there might be a chance that she may not take to it/prefer something nearer to her culture, I guess a possible discomfort with culture issue.

My present girl still I think seems to struggle with having English culture all around her. It can probably get a bit heavy going, when I first went abroad to Ukraine it took a good few days to avoid feeling culture shock and be more at ease with Ukrainian/Russian culture & language etc all around me.

So although it may seem bad if the visa can't be sorted out and the venue becomes Georgia it may not be such a bad thing.

In Russian we say "друг познаётся в беде" meaning a friendship is tested in difficult situations in life. Same with relationships. Difficult /unclear situations can stregthen a good relationship I think even in a very beginning and show how each partner behaves under stress. After all couples usually plan to have kids and kids are very stressful and test you to the limit.

I have a Russian friend who married an American in 2000 and he was very sweet, generous and full of chivalry for the first couple years until she gave birth! They had a very tiny premature baby and after he was out of ICU he would need feedings every hour! My friend was totally sleep deprived and when her husband got home from work and she asked for help with a baby so she can sleep couple of hours, he said he had a headache and is tired. At some point my friend was so sleep deprived, she forgot to open garage door while backing out of the garage and drove right into the garage door! She was really wanting to leave him but had no job, no skills and nowhere to go.

When my husband and I met, we did a lot of rock climbing together, backpacking in mountains, trekking in Nepal etc so we really tested each other in extreme, stressful situations 1998-2000 before we got married in 2000. And sure enough later in life in stressful situations we both stayed calm and loving to each other.

So as Trench said, maybe it's for the better.

Georgia is a beautiful country! And you guys won't be speaking Russian there :) There is a lot of anti russian sentiment right nowin Georgia. It's a great second choice!

I also did rock climbing younger. 6b in second and max TD- (very difficult minus)
What people have to understand is that every second you climb the other half takes care of you with the rope.
So if you fall and he don't do his job correctly you die.
Additionally if something goes wrong, he is the only one who can retrieve some help.

So for example I was doing some apnea (I had also a degree in diving  and that's the same stuff) with a girl in the swimming pool one year and half ago and lifes are interconnected, because in static apnea one is diving and the other monitors the first.
So you have only few seconds to get the other half if he falls unconscious.
Same stuff.

For the little story she was doing good, close to 3 minutes.

This is extreme but it raises confidence. Thank Olga.
