Doll,

You remind me of one of those women that write love letters to convicted murderers and rapists in prisons.

It's quite embarrassing to see your continued fawning and hero worship of Putin....even to the extent that you have to keep posting photos of him LOL.
Just saying it like it is.

He is evil personified.

Who do you think will be the first to break the cease fire? I believe that it will be Poroshenko (or whoever replaces him) because he will feel that he lost on Minsk 2 and will want to prove something.

Agree

The 'sepratists' continually broke the last ceasefire, and they will break this one too.  Poroshenko has absolutely no reason not to maintain peace.

So, you are embarrassed by pics and NOT embarrassed by bullying 2 or 3 Russian board members? None of us were rude , none called others names , none labeled.
Go back and read my and Belvis's posts.
BTW I post Putin's pics just to tease, you didn't get it.

I agree.  Ukraine did not break the last ceasefire, the terrorists did, and they are shelling right now.  I expect that they will break this one as well.

I agree Bo.

Ukraine has everything to win by keeping the truce.  What would be the purpose for violating it?

It would appear that Russia is trying to eliminate the pocket in Debal'tasave and push towards Mariupol prior to the truce taking hold.  Absent that, I would doubt very much if they will allow a truce to occur without those possessions.

When Poroshenko tries to sell Minsk2 to the rest of Ukraine there's going to be a lot of unhappy people because no one likes to lose and they will blame him. If he survives that he will be under tremendous pressure to correct this. All Putin has to do is play it cool and not be the first to break the cease fire. This will make Poroshenko the aggressor and will give Putin the green light for any and all responses. This will be War2.

Untrue.  The majority of Ukrainians do not want war.   They don't want to send their sons, brothers, and husbands, to fight, but it has been a necessity.

What, exactly, have they lost?  Russia did not get the major concession they wanted, a veto over Ukraine's foreign policy.  Neither side is fully happy with this deal, which is a good sign, although I do think the terrorists will break it, in any event.  I hope I am wrong on that point.

There is no such thing as a "best country" or a "best people".   However, I will say, my better half always says that Canada is structured in a way that things are made for the convenience of the people.  Not so in Russia, or Ukraine.
