We can Agree their...

I like Gennady Zyuganov... He is getting old though... They need a fresh face...

Police in America very often Shoot first and do not ask questions... Especially if the person is not Rich and White...

Fear the Police,,,, What kind of Trolling statement is that? Grow up...  Want to talk substance... Than talk substance... Save the Troll comments for some one else...

I will not pretend that America is a land of Milk and Honey...
America has enough problems, We should solve them. WWIII with Russia or a New Arms race will only increase the problems in America...

“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.”

Proof you do not understand how the nomenklatura worked in the USSR.

Or what the communists did after the collapse of the USSR.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Had there not been shock therapy, Russia would be very different.  It has also been proven to not be the best economic model.

However, you have to keep in mind that the communists, throughout, stymied any reforms, and attempted two coups after the collapse of the USSR.  That is what Yeltsin was dealing with, primarily.

You can't blame him when the Duma was not a partner he could rely on.

No, you can't.  He faced opposition at every turn.  That resulted in impasse.

In America, we do kill people sometimes individually during protests, or other police situations...but where we really excel is like what you said earlier, labeling people terrorists and then bombing them in mass, off of US soil....even US citizens can be subject to that treatment...without trial...a quick decision, sometimes flawed...often killing innocents along with the men labeled 'terrorists'

Life is pretty good here in America though, for most the hardships aren't enough to create the critical mass for out of control protests...Some would say what we contribute to sewing elsewhere though is one of the costs of our lifestyle here.  Perhaps that is why we don't have to resort to overbearing tactics during protests...at this time... :o  other countries may not have that luxury

If it helps to ease your conscience, you can always emigrate to a third-world country that is lacking in stolen and natural resources.  :crackwhip:

She may be despicable, but she doesn't hold a candle to FSU oligarchs, who are known for "offing" their opponents.  One even blew up a number of innocent bystanders in an attempt to blow up a competitor during a football match in Donetsk.

On an individual level, yes, it's not doable. But there are examples of rich people donating vast sums to charities. On a state level it's quite possible to a certain extent, such as the system we have in Norway and many other European countries, not perfect and with loopholes, but it is there. The more you earn, the more tax you pay, subsidies for low-income earners and so on.

Interesting that how these people amass wealth is attributed to a branch of religion which exemplifies this as a way to attain closeness to heaven. The irony is that this same branch broke with the Catholic church because the wealthy members were trying to attain closeness to heaven by buying their way in.

Sure, by all means glorify those who pour monetary wealth on those whose backs were broken for these fat cats get their wealth in the first place.

Whilst browsing about the internet, I found a couple noteworthy stories today.

This particular article highlights the dangers of accidental conflict/escalation.  I continue to hold on to the belief that Russia is going to continue to create havoc and escalate in Ukraine, despite our efforts to dissuade them.  Although strategically it would be good for 'The West' to pull Ukraine away from Russia's influence, I don't think it will be permitted by Russia, regardless of what the majority of Ukrainians may want.  So we back up a doomed nation, which will cost them lives, for the main purpose of undermining Russia. We also support militarily 'the rebels' in Syria, and the cost in human life runs in the 100's of 1000's.   Ultimately all parties will have to negotiate an equatable solution, and all this current jockeying is to get the best deal possible.

Accidental conflict is 'true danger of Russia-West clash'

Paris (AFP) - Military posturing and increasingly hostile rhetoric between Russia and the West are raising the risk of an accidental slide towards a wider conflict that neither nuclear-armed side wants, experts warn......

I don't know if Russia is really considering loaning money to Greece, but their presence and the possibility may make the EU bend over more than they otherwise would.

Ehh, are you saying I glorify whatever it is that you tried to condemn?
I won't speak about Rich People donating Money in the US because I don't know too much about that. But we have Rich People in Norway, actually. And they're not catholic, if that's the problem. One billionaire in Bergen has over many years given a couple hundred million dollars to different charities that help out those that cannot help themselves, as well as to sport clubs and so on. In my book that is more moral than to use the Money for themselves on senseless orgies of luxury. You may however, as a matter of principle, disagree With me on that. That's alright Muzh  ;)
