I had to look it up because I heard January was pretty bad.  51 murders last month with 299 people shot.   It's become a 3rd world war zone there.

I was really hoping the Obama's would return to the place they call 'home' after his term. Not sure why not.

THIS is what they were planning on circulating before until...LMAO.

Boy that went away pretty fast. Chicago: America's largest outside shooting range! Home to the country's strictest gun control law!

No kidding...  I thought he would have rented/purchased Jordan's mansion that has been on sale for years.  Jordan even dropped the price like 15 mill and still no sale.  That would be a great place to house some refugees.

Apparently early this week Trump told Rahm if he needed help to clean that place up, he'll send the feds in and get it all straightened out once and for all. Within a couple of days, Pastor Daryl Scott apparently got called in by the two opposing gang leaders for a sit-down meeting to resolve whatever issues they allegedly have and stop the craziness.

Our *orangutan* POTUS can really shake things up. On Time and Under Budget.

OMG.. It's Anteros / Cornfed ...  spouting more of his 'alternative facts'..

When you posted THIS elsewhere you were rightly mocked by a member who actually knows Sweden and Denmark - better than you and the Express - who have followed the UK Daily Mail into an alternative reality

Ah, yes, you haven't BEEN to Sweden in a while ... have you ?

This is a guy who suggests I'd be happy for a 'foreigner' to molest my family ...
I think you're either confused or off your meds again...

How about some more recent, peaceful immigrant news then?

Two Afghan migrants revealed as those arrested over horrific three-hour rape streamed on Facebook Live in Sweden

http://insider.foxnews.com/2017/01/26/afghan-migrants-arrested-over-horrific-3-hour-rape-streamed-facebook-live-sweden

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/24/europe/sweden-rape-facebook-live/

Weird how these "alternative facts" keep appearing over and over.

I could post the link to the actual video as it's out there but I'm sure you and your brain dead ilk would just dismiss it as staged. Talk about living in an alternative reality.  You and your kind would be somewhat amusing if you weren't so sad but then, as we know, liberalism is a mental disorder.

Sure! Why Not. Southside Chicago is dangerous. You'd be silly to walk there anytime of the day Boethius. Albuquerqu NM is a gangbangers' paradise. El Paso - facing Cuidad Quarez is pretty volatile...South LA, Compton. No. Long Beach can be pretty rough. It is what it is...

Unlike a lot of western countries, we don't suppress reality within our borders just to make the world think we found utopia. I remember the time when Jacque Chirac made a remark when watching the tragedy in Katrina, and saw the unrest, poor neighborhood's living condition...he said, "That can never happen in France. We just can't allow it".

Then the streets of France started burning for almost 4 weeks soon after.
You're wasting your bandwidth. Look at the irony in her statement.

But when one speaks to people who actually live there, they scoff at that notion.

There are plenty of stories of how unsafe the US is, how tourists are shot or robbed at gunpoint, how lawless it is, how the streets are filled with the homeless.  Should people believe that as well?

Boe, the handlers and security teams that live there tell the flight crew these areas are not safe. They are locals and professionals.

They want zero risk, I assume.  It doesn't mean the area is a no go zone.

In France, the areas are called ZUS.  They are not unsafe, just economically depressed and requiring upgraded services.

In London, any time there is a provocation with sharia law, it's shut down by law enforcement.  No London borough has a majority Muslim population.  Tower Hamlets comes closest, with 41.8%.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

The point is, not every part of Chicago is unsafe.  Duh.

Boe, there is no such thing as zero risk as we say in risk management. One of my clients I do freelance work for online owns a risk management firm in Austin. Ex Military badass. Makes badgers run for cover.

This is who I speak to weekly on risk management for his marketing materials.

So far this year, SO. Chicago had surpassed last year's gun deaths in the same time frame. And last year's rate was a record.

See, that damn Trump is ruining Chicago now!   :D

My uncle used to live in Chicago. He knew a guy that took a wrong turn driving and got lost for 3 days. He knew another guy, an immigrant that didn't speak English, that got lost for 3 weeks. Chicago's population is larger than many nations. There will be good and bad areas. There is no excuse for the local government to allow bad areas to get as bad as they are.

I asked someone who lives in London, who said there are no such things as "no go" zones in London.  He said there are low income areas that can be dangerous, and even named them - Enfield, Croydon, Edmonton, Peckham, and Hackney.

Well if he's as far past his sell by date as you are, it's understandable.

LOL.  Is that the best you've got?

I am not for sale, having managed to "sell" myself in my teens, and have remained so "sold" since then.  You, on the other hand, can't find a buyer notwithstanding looking for a sale for about half a decade.  So difficult to understand, given your obvious "charm".

Yes, please bring in more refugees. We want this in America too. How about this at the Smithsonian or the Met in Manhattan?

I know I don't know if this was a refugee but I don't care. I am not an anti-america bleeding heart  liberal.  ;D

"Hammond Law Group LLC has learned that a draft of an Executive Order modifying President Trump's January 25, 2017 Executive Order, Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States, is currently being circulated for review," the firm said on Wednesday, February 1.

"This Executive Order, if signed, may add the following countries to the travel ban implemented on January 25th: Egypt, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Colombia, Venezuela, southern Philippines, trans-Sahara (Mali), and Sulu/Sulawesi Seas Littoral. We believe the new Executive Order may be published within the next two weeks," the law firm said.

Colombia is once again dangerous. My brother was just stripped down to his underwear down there and had a gun held to his head and beaten bloody. Venezuelans are crossing into it which ads to the danger due to desperate people.

What in Sam Hell?  My wife was mentioning some concerns regarding our forthcoming trip to Colombia which I just figured was a bit of hysteria/silliness.  As erratic as trump is, I would be very surprised if Colombia was put on a list of banned countries.  If indeed this list was implemented,  I think you would see much more genuine outrage and protests....and rightfully so.

The ban is not a muslim ban to begin with, although the countries included are pretty much muslim to this point.  In my opinion, the list should not be applauded, or added to, but disposed of as soon as possible.     American's freedom to travel is impacted negatively by the list.

But risk consulting is about minimizing risk.

Stats, and a crime map, are available from the police.  By their stats, the central areas (most frequented by tourists) are the "no go" zones.

Who cares! I don't ever plan to travel to most of these countries. The list should be added to for the near future and reassessed as time goes on. I would much rather not have unsavory characters come here and kill Americans, even if they are Libs.
