Appropriately so. Strange though that it would be 'regional'. That doesn't make sense. Ban the entire country.

I asked someone who lives in London, who said there are no such things as "no go" zones in London.  He said there are low income areas that can be dangerous, and even named them - Enfield, Croydon, Edmonton, Peckham, and Hackney.

When the world news was featuring bombs and shootings in Belfast, ( late 60's early 70's - I was somewhat bewildered as I lived 6 miles from the city centre - in the hills overlooking the city and my life was tranquil ..  I sometime heard bombs - a small trump - but the prevailing wind might have helped.

I have a daughter living in SE London .. There are statistically FAR more dangerous places in the USA ..

There are without a doubt areas you should not visit in those cities. Just as there are no go zones in London and Paris. You are pretty safe in the Harbor Beach neighborhood of Lauderdale. Lauderhill you are likely to get shot/robbed/raped. Can you visit that area without an incident? Sure. What are the chances for a local street smart white guy? How about a less saavy European white male on vacation? A single white female? At night?

That is both a shocking and disturbing magazine cover, 2Tall.

I notice that it is an Irish rag though, so I'm guessing if they ran the same cover with Obama, the FBI would not get their hands on the computers and the staff wouldn't be sitting in holding cells (at least not American ones).

I does l ave me wondering though - is that protected free speech in Ireland? They are basically inciting the assassination of a democratically elected president. I'd like to see the Irish authorities get involved.
