IMO Hispanic men and men from the Caucusus do not have  the same.   Do the police stop you and ask for your passport. 

My girlfriend's daughter is staying with me while attending university.  My neighbor had a large, first class Super Bowl party, so the daughter came to the party for a totally new experience.  She has dark eyes and black hair from her Cossack grandparents.  A couple of party guests walked up to her and started speaking Spanish.

It has been awhile since I've been stopped by the police, except for one time after the attack at Domodedovo. I was coming back from the gym so naturally I was carrying a big gym bag. The officer stopped me and asked me about 20 questions, even after he went through my bag.

Finally, to get him to stop asking and me answering, I told him I was an American and went for my passport. He let me go before I had a chance to pull it out.

I also don't think there's much of a resemblance if you talk about Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Tajiks and such, but every now and then I see some who bear a resemblance, so I get it. I do, at times, get some flak in the metro because some Russian thinks I'm from the Caucasus, which is why I've gone back to speaking English initially to them and then go into my Russian. You'd be surprised at the difference it makes with their attitude towards me when I do that .

Overall they dress much different, so you'd think that would be the first thing someone would look at, but again, I have seen some who could easily pass as Hispanic.

When I'm out flagging a ride, most of the people who will offer you a ride are from that part of the world. I'm often asked where I'm from because 1) they think I might be from the Caucasus region, and 2) my Russian sounds different to them, of course. I usually tell them I'm from Spain though and it does make for some interesting rides.

When we moved to US, we sincerely could not understand why we all of a sudden became "Caucasian". 

I guess as long as you don't look typically Russian you might get stopped by police.

Besides, most RW are very attracted to their look and personality by default.  Every Russian girl's fantasy is to have a romance with a Latin guy.  That's perhaps the main reason why telenovelas were so popular in Russia.

I cannot agree with the quoted statements. I heard only about one woman who reportedly said she was attracted to Latin men’ look and I have never known a woman whose fantasy was to have a romance with a Latin guy.

People all over the world enjoy watching American movies; does it mean that the people have fantasy of having a romance with an American man or woman?

The quantity of something supplied does not increase only because of the abundance of the staff nor does supply increase only because of the increase in demand.  Supply increases with price. That is, if something is overpriced, the supply will be plentiful even if the demand is mediocre.   If something is underpriced, the supply will be scare even if the demand is great but price does not increase for some reason.  Applying the logic of supply and demand to FSUW agencies/ sites vs. Latin women, I would say people prefer marketing FSU women over Latin women because marketing FSU women is more profitable than marketing Latin women. This probably will stay this way until western vogue starts favoring big asses and hips.

Maybe our experiences are different.  Virtually all Russian girls I talked to about this subject are very open to the idea.  And I know a couple who are actually studying Spanish because of this.

Well, tastes do differ.  There are people who like more the Russian "look", and there are those that prefer Latinas.  And then I know several guys who date both Russian girls and Latinas.  And the average tastes have changed quite a bit in the 20 years I have been to US towards more of a Latina shape.  I doubt that J Lo could be as big of a star (which is largely based on her figure) 20-30 years ago.

You are correct, however, in regards to profitability, but I think it is a function of a business model and professionalism.  As I was doing research of demographics of traffic to most popular Russian sites and Latin sites, and - inasmuch as such demographics are not exact data - it does appear that the clientele of Russian sites is on average a lot more wealthy, and thus having more disposable income to be able to afford dating and marrying a foreign lady - and the accompanying agency's fees.  There are two causes of why Russian sites attract a wealthier clientele and thus are more profitable.  First is is the business model of leading Russian sites, which appears to be a lot more lucrative than a typical business model of a Latin site.  Another is that the majority of existing sites in South America drive away wealthier clientele by the type of women they list and how those women are presented - usually poorly.  The ladies are presented a lot better on Russian sites, and the girls that are listed there on average are more desirable in terms of their looks, age, education.  There are plenty of beautiful and desirable women in South America, but the agencies there rarely seem to be able to attract them.  Wealthy men in US generally don't have to go to another country to meet a woman who is - at best - average in looks, lacks education, and whose agency doesn't even want to increase her chances by investing into good photos.  The irony is that for a typical South American agency to work, it must attract wealthy clients, so very few of them make much profit, and usually close almost as soon as they open.

You obviously have more experience in the former Soyuz than I, however, I've met more than one young RW that would drop everything for a Latino. Now, I didn't say many.

Actually, many (this time) fantasize having a romance with the actor/actress, regardless where they come from.
