I'm a conservative that voted for Trump. I don't like BS and how Trump did things pertaining to immigration unnecessarily cost taxpayers money. That's BS. Even a blind man can see what Trump wanted to do could've been done smoother with less impact on the overwhelming majority of law abiding legal immigrants. You seem to believe he can't do wrong. He's been bankrupt twice in his life. He's got 4 years. Let's hope he doesn't bankrupt again in this span because this time he'll be taking America with him.

Some want Trump to save American jobs. There's no better way to get that done if he can persuade other nations to increase the buying of our products. What's his plan on making other nationalities like our nation?

China has been shooting off a bunch of missiles and Russia has increase the violence in Ukraine making statements to not mess with them or their interests. I'm interested to see how Trump will handle aggression and violation of international laws.

So far from what I've seen, Trump has convinced some American companies to stay in America but offered them tax breaks. Is he going to offer all American companies the same deal? Lessening the burden of doing business in America is one way to keep jobs here. Taxes on businesses should be lower but Trump needs to do more. He needs to go out, visit a number of nations and promote American products. He could even dictate American foreign aid be used to buy American products or much of that aid is American products. Give it time and we'll see how the world begins to view America. If they like us, it's good for our economy and job creation. If they don't like us, our economy will take a hit and Trump will be out the door in 4. Surely the Democrats learned their lesson and will nominate a much better and less flawed candidate than Hillary four years from now.

I misinterpreted your post Billy.  I read it as you wanting Trump to get other nations to be similar to ours.  Like spreading our democracy over the world type of stuff.

If the deal is good enough there will be plenty of good feels towards the US.  He wants to negotiate bilaterally with countries.   That type of one on one will prove more lucrative than trying to negotiate with several countries under one agreement.

All corps are getting tax breaks.  I haven't seen any specific tax breaks given to any specific company that all others won't be getting under his tax plan.

Carrier was leaving America and was given an additional 7 million in tax breaks to keep "some" jobs here. Trump's proposed tax plan for all businesses alone wasn't good enough to motivate Carrier to stay. Trump's behavior will motivate more companies to threaten to leave so they could get additional breaks over what Trump's tax plan allows. Trump should make America a great place to operate a business but not make a practice of giving out special deals to certain corporations at our expense then brag about how he saved jobs. If you and I are paying for it, we get the credit.

Democrat obstructionism and lawsuits could be avoided if Trump enacted his immigration ban in a way that didn't impact so many businesses and good people's lives. Is it possible Trump could've done that? Yes. Did he do that? No, and it was probably because he didn't think things out. Our tax money will pay for Trump's mistake so buck stops with Trump.

Indiana gave them the tax breaks.  Same as other states giving tax breaks to companies.  I would also point out many states, such as Texas, don't have state taxes in order to draw in businesses.

Even more puzzling why Trump took the credit for saving American jobs if it were only Indiana that scarified their money. Sometimes other deals are made that are done behind closed doors. Promises for sweet federal government contracts may be there for Carrier. Remember those years where the federal government were overpaying for many things such as $400 for each hammer? Hope we don't go back to those days. Most corporations don't care where the money comes, local, state or federal level. They'll take it and Trump so far has shown to encourage those kinds of deals.

Trump needs to realize that you can't make deals or appease radicals. He should
immediately fire 100% of the lingering Obama cabinet positions which haven't been
replaced yet because of foot dragging by Dems.

He needs to get the GOP house and senate to produce a bill allowing him to fire
unhelpful and foot dragging federal employees, starting with the 900 state
department officials that signed a protest memo. They are part of the problem
not part of the solution.
