I haven't brought this up before because I truly value the experience and insight of the members here, but the scripture quotes is a bit over the top for me.  And probably more appropriate on a different type of forum.

Hey Kenny, I feel your pain!  You could try to get a post back on track by starting your reply with something like "In reply to the original post..." or "In response to the post by____ on page __" and see how that goes. Wow I can not believe I somehow missed such an interesting debate about HRB.  And the fact that the orchid agency was mentioned makes it even more interesting.  OK, so, here are some facts about how HRB and its affiliate agencies function.  And, for the record.. the Orchid Agency in Odessa is the prototype for how the scam works.  They are the experts.

Ok, so the Orchid Agency runs ads in the Odessa papers that vary from "find your western husband" to "work on the internet and make easy money".  They have fashion shows and beauty contests for their membership.  The agency office itself is very attractive with lots of computers and comfortable furnishings.  There are always drinks and snacks for the ladies.  If you go to Odessa to meet one of their girls they will treat you well and make you feel as though you are in very professional company.  That is why their scam works so well.

They are classic bait and switchers.

The girls are on contract and will refuse to communicate off site.  They will claim it is for safety, but, it is because they are in fact generating more money than anyone even has guessed at here. 

A popular girl from this agency will generate dozens of letters and chat minutes a day and a huge quantity of gifts.  The girls have the choice of taking the gifts or a percentage of the profit.  On the candy and flowers they take the cash.  On the spa certificates a lot of them will go to the spa.  Etc... and yes the gift photos are totally posed. 

The agency has laptops they let the most popular girls take home.  The agency will pay for their internet connection and they have quotas of gifts they are to solicit.  HRB rules supposedly prohibit the outright solicitation of gifts but it happens anyway.  The smarter ones will say things like.. "oh my friend got such nice flowers" or, "I really have a feeling for some chocolate" or "I really wish to go to the spa, my back is so tired I need a relax" etc.  Sometimes they will also directly admonish you for not sending flowers on all the appropriate flower days to make you feel guilty so you will be sure to do it next time.

Now, the next part is the real clincher for suckers.  If you should question the lady about why she will nto have contact off the site and suggest things are not on the up and up the girl will refer you to the testimonials where the owners and managers of Orchid are highly praised, and, even more convincing are profiles like the one below.

Got it?  Thats how it works!  It is a scam plain and simple.  I do not believe her current profile is truthful.  Why?

So, how to recognize if a lady is from the Orchid agency.  Well, first of all they seem to be quite proud of it and are very patriotic about it, so, just ask.  Orchid has offices throughout Ukraine that function with the same methods.  Second, they are very prone to highly photoshopping their ladies.  They also have been known to use hyper amounts of makeup to hide flaws.  Some of the girls don't even look real.  Oh and by the way, Orchid is a "Christian" agency and so if you see a profile full of BS about God and religion and contains the other telltales.. guess who?

in fact, a review of Zhanna's profile shows exactly what I mean.  Note the style of makeup and photography.  See a girl with this style of "art" on ANY major site and you can be sure that her local agency is Orchid or a satelite office.

If curious, the profiles I referenced for the most part can be found on all the major sites.  This was one of the first major discoveries I had when trying to decifer how the scam works.  HRB is high profile, but, all the major sites are functioning on the same premise and method.

Some questions for you.  This girl, 221343 , has pics of herself and a man.  Who is he?  What do you mean the gift photos are posed?   And this girl, 207267.  You saw her topless and she did not know you were seeing her?  She was at home and not at an agency?  In regards to Zhanna:  She has used the same pictures on at least two other dating sites, so I don't think HRB owns the pictures.  Also, she has sent me other photos of herself that were taken in the same photo shoots but have never been used on any dating site.  She has also sent personal photos of herself.  One was with her dog and another was her about town in Odessa.  There were no professional touches to them.

Another poster here has claimed he has seen the girl in the pictures on Zhanna's profile on Belgium television and that she is, in fact, a Czech model.  I asked for some proof.  I got none.  I also went to every Czech modeling agency website I could find looking for pictures of her and I found none.  If she was a Czech model, I am sure she would be featured prominently on the site of whatever agency she works for.

I have decided that the only way I am going to find out is to go visit her.  So I have asked if she would like that.  If so, I will plan to go see her.  Now we shall see.

Bill, stop.  Think for just as minute.  What is so special or unique about you that she would give up a comfortable lifestyle scamming men or forsake every other man who has expressed interest in her to be with you?

I see a case of serious denial going on here.  Any one of the warnings expressed here would make me move on.  But I have seen this syndrome many times before. You have such hopes that a woman so apparently wonderful has strong feelings for only you that nothing will dissuade you.

I agree that the only solution is to see for yourself.  Maybe you are such an incredible man that, despite her past she is now ready to settle down with you and maybe the life you offer her is so much better than what she could hope for and expect from every other man who is offering her the same.

Quit HRB, forget this woman who even if she has .00001% of soul left has blatantly allowed her images to be used for profit for no less than three years. (and is probably gaining profit of her own) How do you know it is even her writing to you?  And don't tell me you have seen her on cam.. Ksusha always had a "manager" writing for her even though her English was perfect.  That is how Orchid operates.  Just because you see her on cam and even if she appears to be typing means ABSOLUTELY nothing!

HRB does not "own" any of the images that are sent in emails on their site.  The images belong to the affiliate agency.  That is the beauty of their scam.  HRB has worked it out so they are never legally obliged in any way to the men that use their site.  It is in the TOS.  Read the TOS again and you will see they are responsible for nothing more than facilitating communication.  Everything else is up to the independent affiliate agency which they can not control.  Once you are on the ground in Odessa you will be under the control of Orchid.  Do not think you can outsmart them, you can not.  They have been doing this a lot longer than you have and have figured out every scenario in their favor.  Have you even spent the $1000 required to be "qualified" for direct contact?

Anyway, it is your life and you will do what you will do, but, I have stated my opinion and I am standing by it.  I hope you take my advice though.  Best of luck.

Well, BillR, I really think that's a great idea.  I think it will bring a form of closure to your questions in a hands down fashion. you've been communicating with this lady for over 4 months.  You have a lot invested in time and money, so it is time to roll on it.

I hope that she's really one of the sincere ones just caught up in the whirlwind.  Keep your head about you... don't buy her a cell phone, a bunch of gifts, pay $50.00 for a taxi driver she chooses each day, eat at expensive restaurants... if the lady is serious about you, all of these types of money traps will not surface.

If she can meet you for only one hour each day, something is probably wrong.  Plan your trip for when she can make time for you. Discuss all of that before you go. You're going to be over there, and that's great, but also make yourself a serious back up plan in case she doesn't show or turns into the MilkWoman.

Quit HRB, forget this woman who even if she has .00001% of soul left has blatantly allowed her images to be used for profit for no less than three years. (and is probably gaining profit of her own) How do you know it is even her writing to you?  And don't tell me you have seen her on cam.. Ksusha always had a "manager" writing for her even though her English was perfect.  That is how Orchid operates.  Just because you see her on cam and even if she appears to be typing means ABSOLUTELY nothing!

HRB does not "own" any of the images that are sent in emails on their site.  The images belong to the affiliate agency.  That is the beauty of their scam.  HRB has worked it out so they are never legally obliged in any way to the men that use their site.  It is in the TOS.  Read the TOS again and you will see they are responsible for nothing more than facilitating communication.  Everything else is up to the independent affiliate agency which they can not control.  Once you are on the ground in Odessa you will be under the control of Orchid.  Do not think you can outsmart them, you can not.  They have been doing this a lot longer than you have and have figured out every scenario in their favor.  Have you even spent the $1000 required to be "qualified" for direct contact?

Anyway, it is your life and you will do what you will do, but, I have stated my opinion and I am standing by it.  I hope you take my advice though.  Best of luck.

Sulpto, Scott...  BillR has read this thread in it's entirety, I am sure.  He's so entirely wrapped up in this that I don't think it is possible to pry this dream out of his head with a crowbar greased with acid.  I absolutely agree the chances are not that great, but, if he goes, he'll get his answer and at least be able to tell others (if he comes back that is) that this really is a scam. 

He'll get his answer, written in stone (which he needs) one way or the other. If it doesn't work, then he can load up, shoot again.
